See the pre-saleWhere to look
Look for flowering limes in July in manor parks and on forest edges, not in roadside avenues. Meadowsweet and sorrel grow in meadows in the Łyna valley, and elder and garlic mustard by scrub and ruins. Avoid crop fields and their margins, as they may be sprayed.
What grows here
small-leaved lime (linden), elder (elderflower, elderberry), stinging nettle, dandelion, meadowsweet, yarrow, common sorrel, dog rose (rosehip), common chickweed, garlic mustard, ground elder, white dead-nettle
Habitats: rolling farmland with tree belts, avenues and manor parks, meadows in the Łyna valley and mixed forest
Rules
Roadside avenues are sometimes protected natural monuments and belong to the road authority, and picking beside traffic is dangerous. Picking plants is banned in nature reserves. On private meadows and in manor parks, ask the owner.
About the place
Warmia is a hilly farming region with former estates, parks and tree-lined avenues. Around Lidzbark Warmiński there are many limes, elders and meadows by the Łyna. It is a good place for meadow herbs and tree flowers.
