Where to stand
Walk east of the port, past the last buildings, until the promenade lights are behind you. Face the sea and look north. The lighthouse beam will be on your left, so do not point the camera that way.

Rules and safety
Do not walk onto the breakwaters or the harbour heads at night, especially in wind and in winter when they can be icy. Keep off the dunes.
About the spot
Ustka is a larger town at about 54.59° N, with strong lights from the port and promenade. The beaches on both sides of the port face north and have an open view of the sea. Access is easy, so it is a good place for a first attempt.
